Texas Grilled Sirloin With Serrano Chile Salsa

Prep: 10 min., Chill: 8 hrs., Grill: 12 min.

  • 2 pounds lean boneless top sirloin steak trimmed
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh oregano
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed
  • Serrano Chile Salsa
  • Flour tortillas

Instructies

  • Combine steak and next 5 ingredients in a large zip-top freezer bag; seal and shake well.
  • Chill at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
  • Grill steak, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 5 to 6 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
  • Cut diagonally across the grain into thin slices.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

 
Serve with Serrano Chile Salsa and flour tortillas.
