Tomato-Glazed Chicken Breasts
Ingrediënten
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 10 oz. can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ to 1 cup fat-free chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructies
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Coat each chicken breast with flour on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Brown the floured chicken breasts on both sides, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Ro-Tel tomatoes (undrained) and garlic powder.
- Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and place the browned chicken breasts in the dish.
- Pour the tomato mixture over the chicken breasts.
- Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
- Serve the tomato-glazed chicken breasts with rice or pasta.
