Ultimate Mac ’n Cheese Melt
Ingrediënten
- 1 single serving tub Velveeta Shells & Cheese
- 2-3 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- Butter or butter spread
Instructies
- Prepare the Velveeta Shells & Cheese according to the package directions.
- Once cooked, transfer it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
- Chilling helps it thicken and makes it easier to handle.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Spread half of the sharp Cheddar cheese onto the non-buttered side of one slice of bread.
- Remove the chilled macaroni and cheese from the refrigerator and spread it evenly over the Cheddar cheese, covering the entire surface of the bread.
- Sprinkle the remaining sharp Cheddar cheese over the macaroni and cheese, then top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Cook the sandwich at 325°F for four minutes on each side, using a melting dome to help warm up the cold macaroni.
