Vodka Sauce
Ingrediënten
- 4 cups pomodoro sauce or jarred sauce
- 1 cup vodka
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Cooked pasta for serving
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructies
- In a straight-sided large skillet over medium-high heat, combine the pomodoro sauce and the vodka and simmer until the sauce has reduced by 25 percent, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in the cream and reduce the heat to low.
- Cook until the cream is incorporated and the sauce is heated through.
- Serve with pasta and garnish with Parmesan.

Vodka sauce also freezes great. Store it in an airtight container, or if you are low on space, you can portion the sauce into freezer zip-top bags. Vodka sauce will last in the freezer for up to 6 months. It’s good practice to label and date your freezer items so you know what the contents are and if you are using them within the correct amount of time.
