White Wine and Chicken Meatballs

This simple recipe is a great alternative to meatballs with a red sauce. These meatballs can be eaten alone as an entrée.

Ingrediënten

  • 2 pounds of ground chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground fennel seed
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • ¼ cup of white wine
  • ½ cup of parsley chopped
  • 1 cup of dried bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 450° F.
  • Mix all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Stir untilcombined thoroughly.
  • Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  • Roll the mixture until golf-ball-sized meatballs, packing firmly.
  • Place the meatballs in the baking dish in even rows.
  • Themeatballs should be touching.
  • Bake until the meatballs are cooked thoroughly.
  • This usually takes about 14 minutes.
  • Let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
