Worcestershire and Blue Cheese Volcano Burgers
While these burgers may seem as if they would not be appetizing, you will be surprised with these burgers.
Ingrediënten
- 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 shallot minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Dash of black pepper
- 1 ¼ pounds of lean ground beef
- ¼ cup of Worcestershire ketchup
- 1 cup of blue cheese crumbled
- Hamburger buns for serving
- Lettuce leaves for topping
- Tomato thinly sliced and for serving
Instructies
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- In a saucepan set over medium heat, add in the olive oil and minced shallot.
- Season with a dash of salt and black pepper.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until gold.
- In a bowl, add in the lean ground beef.
- Add in the shallots and Worcestershire ketchup.
- Stir well to mix.
- Divide into 4 balls.
- In the center of the balls, add in ¼ of the blue cheese in the center.
- Roll the meat around the cheese and flatten slightly into patties.
- Transfer onto a baking sheet.
- Place into the oven to bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cooked through.
- Remove and transfer immediately onto the hamburger buns.
- Top off with the lettuce and tomato slices.
