Instructies
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Chicken:
- Sprinkle the boneless chicken breast slices with basil (or oregano) and rub them with crushed garlic.
- Melt Butter:
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish or using a stovetop method.
- Coat Chicken:
- Pour the melted butter into a casserole dish.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the dish, turning them to coat both sides with the butter.
- Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper to taste.

- Turn the chicken over and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Finish Cooking:
- Reduce the oven heat to 300°F (150°C) and continue cooking the chicken until tender, about 5 more minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
- Add Lemon:
- Remove the chicken from the oven and squeeze the juice of the lemons over the chicken.
- Serve:
- Serve the zesty lemon garlic chicken hot, over a bed of rice or with your favorite side dishes.
