Equipment

Ingrediënten

  • 1 16 oz bag of cauliflower florets frozen
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • ¼ tsp pepper or to taste
  • 3 slices of bacon cooked until crispy, then cut into small pieces
  • Paprika for garnish optional

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking dish.
  • Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 8-10 minutes or until they are soft.
  • Drain well and place them in the greased baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the cauliflower in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cooked bacon pieces over the top of the cheese mixture.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with paprika for added flavor and color.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve the loaded baked cauliflower hot as a delicious side dish alongside fish or grilled steaks.
