About This Recipe

Christmas Biscuits in a Jar are more than just a holiday treat — they are a way of sharing warmth, flavor, and creativity during the season of giving. This edible gift combines convenience with a personal touch, offering the recipient a joyful baking moment without the need to measure or shop for ingredients. It’s perfect for neighbors, teachers, coaches, colleagues, or anyone who appreciates homemade charm but might not have time to prepare from scratch.

The layers in the jar look beautifully festive, especially when the cranberries and chocolate create bursts of color through the glass. The flavors evoke classic Christmas nostalgia: warming cinnamon, creamy sweetness from white chocolate, and a hint of malt richness from the Horlicks. Once baked, the biscuits are slightly chewy, cozy, and filled with seasonal texture from oats and fruit. For best results, enjoy them while still warm — they pair wonderfully with hot drinks, especially spiced or creamy ones.

Not only are these biscuits delicious, but the jar can be reused long after the treats are gone, making this gift both sustainable and memorable. Whether you prepare a single jar for a friend or a batch for family, this recipe brings holiday cheer straight to the kitchen counter and keeps the Christmas spirit alive one cookie at a time.
