Ingrediënten
- In the Jar
- 125 g wholemeal flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 120 g dried cranberries
- 150 g rolled oats
- 1 heaped tsp cinnamon
- 145 g soft brown sugar
- A pinch of flaky sea salt
- 170 g large white chocolate chunks
- 1 heaped tbsp Horlicks
- To Bind the Gift Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 150 g soft butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructies
- Layer the flour and baking powder into the base of the jar, followed by dried cranberries.
- Add rolled oats mixed with cinnamon, then brown sugar with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
- Top with white chocolate chunks and Horlicks to complete the festive presentation.
- If gifting, attach a label with instructions and decorate the jar with ribbon or twine.
- To bake: Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4 and butter two baking sheets.
- Beat the egg, butter, and vanilla until creamy, then stir in jar contents to form dough.
- Roll 24 golf-ball-sized portions and bake for 11 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool slightly on trays and serve warm for best flavor.
