Classic Chicken Paprika

Equipment
- heavy pot
 
Ingrediënten
- 5 lb. chicken pieces
 - 3 tablespoons butter
 - 3 tablespoons oil
 - 1 ½ cups finely chopped onion
 - 3-4 teaspoons sweet Hungarian paprika
 - 4 teaspoons chicken bouillon 4 cubes
 - 3-4 cups water enough to cover the chicken
 - 2 tablespoons flour mixed with 2 cups sour cream
 
Instructies
- In a heavy pot, boil the butter, oil, onion, paprika, chicken bouillon, and water.
 - Add the chicken pieces to the pot and simmer covered until tender.
 - Remove the chicken from the pot, then bone and skin it.
 - Add the flour and sour cream mixture to the pot along with the chicken.
 - Do not bring to a boil again.
 - Serve the chicken paprika with cooked rice.
