Ingrediënten

  • 2 ½ pounds Chicken wings 12 to 15
  • 6 tablespoons 3oz Texas Pete Hot Sauce*
  • 4 tablespoons 2oz Butter or Margarine
  • *For a spicier option use Tabasco Sauce.

Instructies

  • Cut the chicken wings at all joints and discard the wing tips.
  • Place the 24 to 30 wing pieces on absorbent paper towels to dry.
  • If using a DEEP FRYER: Heat the oil to 375°F (190°C).
  • Fry the wings for 8-10 minutes or until crispy.
  • If using the OVEN: Spread the wings in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 25 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
  • Add hot sauce and stir well.
  • Place the cooked wings in a covered bowl.
  • Pour the sauce over the wings, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Cover the bowl with a lid and shake to coat the wings evenly with the sauce.
  • Place the lid-covered bowl on a plate covered with a paper towel.
  • Serve the Classic Homemade Hot Wings immediately.
