Corn and Crab Soup
Ingrediënten

- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 pound fresh lump crabmeat drained
- 1 11-ounce can whole kernel corn, drained
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructies
- In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the flour and stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add the chicken broth and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the half-and-half, fresh lump crabmeat, drained whole kernel corn, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Cover and reduce the heat, simmering for 20 minutes.
