Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms

As a full meal, side dish or appetiser, these scrumptious and creamy crab-stuffed mushrooms have a nice crunch from the bread crumb topping made crisp in the air fryer.

  • 56 grams cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup crabmeat shells discarded
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 450 grams brown mushrooms stems removed
  • 1 ½ tablespoons panko bread crumbs
  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter melted
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructies

  • In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, crabmeat, horseradish, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Preheat air fryer at 180°C for 5 minutes.
  • Evenly stuff cream cheese mixture into mushroom caps.
  • Distribute bread crumbs over stuffed mushrooms.
  • Drizzle melted butter over bread crumbs.
  • Place half of mushrooms in fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer to serving plate.
  • Repeat with remaining mushrooms.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve warm.
