Ingrediënten

  • 1 cup of shortening
  • teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1 pound of powdered sugar about 4 cups
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of milk

Preparation Time: 25 minutes

Instructies

  • In a large bowl, beat the shortening, vanilla extract, and almond extract with a mixer on medium speed for about 30 seconds.
  • Slowly add about half of the powdered sugar, beating well to combine.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of milk to the mixture.
  • Gradually beat in the remaining powdered sugar and enough of the remaining milk to reach the desired spreading consistency.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

If you don’t use all the frosting at once, you can freeze it in a freezer container for up to 3 months. To use it, simply thaw it at room temperature before spreading or decorating.
This recipe yields approximately 3 cups of Creamy Frosting, perfect for frosting cakes, cupcakes, or any baked treats of your choice.
