- 4 pork chops
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup onion diced
- 1 cup celery diced
- 1 cup long-cooking rice uncooked
- 29- oz. can tomato sauce
- 15- oz. can diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructies
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook pork chops in oil until golden but not cooked through.
- Add diced onion, diced celery, and uncooked rice to the skillet.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes, adding water as needed to prevent drying out.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Creole Pork Chops & Rice hot.
