  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 cup long-cooking rice uncooked
  • 29- oz. can tomato sauce
  • 15- oz. can diced tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructies

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook pork chops in oil until golden but not cooked through.
  • Add diced onion, diced celery, and uncooked rice to the skillet.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes, adding water as needed to prevent drying out.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the Creole Pork Chops & Rice hot.
