Ingrediënten
- 6 to 8 chicken pieces bone-in
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornmeal
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ cup butter or margarine melted
Instructies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a paper sack or large resealable plastic bag, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Shake the bag until the ingredients are well mixed.
- Place two pieces of chicken into the bag at a time, shaking until each piece is evenly coated with the flour mixture.
- Pour the melted butter into the bottom of a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the coated chicken pieces in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, turning the chicken several times during cooking to ensure even browning.
- Once cooked through and golden brown, remove the chicken from the oven.
