Fajita Guacamole
Guacamole and fajita share cultural similarities. How about you merge both and see what you get? Definitely yum!
Ingrediënten
Serves: 4
- ½ tsp olive oil
- ½ medium red bell pepper julienned
- ½ medium green bell pepper julienned
- ½ small red onion julienned
- 1 garlic clove minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 3 avocados pitted and peeled
- 2 tsp fresh lime juice
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ⅓ cup crumbled queso fresco cheese
Instructies
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add bell peppers and onion.
- Sauté for 4 minutes or until tender and stir in garlic.
- Cook for 30 seconds or until tender.
- Turn heat off.
- Mash avocados in a bowl using a potato masher or fork to your desired consistency.
- Add remaining ingredients including pepper mixture but leaving a little cheese for garnish.
- Fold in well.
- Garnish with cheese and serve guacamole.
