Makes 1 dozen

  • 4 large eggs lightly beaten
  • cups of matzo ball mix
  • ¼ cup of canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 6 cups of water

Instructies

  • Stir together the beaten eggs, matzo ball mix, canola oil, and salt.
  • Cover the mixture and chill it for 30 minutes.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls, ensuring not to exceed this size.
  • Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Drop the matzo balls into the boiling water.
  • Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the matzo balls from the water using a slotted spoon.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

During Passover, use kosher matzo ball mix.
