  • Let stand for 10 minutes until foamy.

  • Add the yeast mixture, remaining water, and ¼ cup olive oil.
  • Knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms.
  • Adjust with flour or water if needed.
  • Form the dough into a ball, place it on a plate, and lightly brush with olive oil.
  • Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Punch down the dough and transfer to a floured surface.
