Easy Garlic Spread for Bread
Instructies
In a small bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water.
Let stand for 10 minutes until foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, wheat gluten, garlic powder, and salt.
Add the yeast mixture, remaining water, and ¼ cup olive oil.
Knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms.
Adjust with flour or water if needed.
Form the dough into a ball, place it on a plate, and lightly brush with olive oil.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Punch down the dough and transfer to a floured surface.
Press into a 9 × 12-inch (23 × 30.

Spread the garlic spread evenly, leaving a ½-inch (1.

Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and crimp to seal.
