Garlic Rolls and Knots Recipe
Fluffy, golden-brown garlic rolls and knots brushed with rich garlic butter – perfect for a cozy meal or party snack!

- 1 package about 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
Instructies
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast.
- Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring to combine.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small portions.
- Roll each portion into a ball for rolls or a rope for knots.
- Arrange the rolls/knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Brush the garlic butter over the rolls/knots.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve warm, brushing with extra garlic butter if desired.
