Instructies
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast.
Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring to combine.
Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Punch down the dough and divide it into small portions.
Roll each portion into a ball for rolls or a rope for knots.
Arrange the rolls/knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
Brush the garlic butter over the rolls/knots.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve warm, brushing with extra garlic butter if desired.
