Goulash with Potato

Ingrediënten

  • Stew beef meat 1-inch diced pieces: 2 pounds
  • Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped and scrubbed potatoes: 8 large
  • Pepper and salt: to taste
  • Chili without beans: 16 ounces
  • Paprika: ¼ teaspoon
  • Chopped onion: 1

Instructies

  • Season beef with paprika, pepper and salt.
  • Brown onion and seasoned beef in oil to make all sides brown.
  • Cover beef with water and simmer for almost 4 hours to tender meat.
  • Keep adding water while cooking as you notice it is decreasing below the level of ingredients.
  • Add chili and potatoes almost one hour before serving and serve hot goulash.
