Grilled Fresh Tuna
Citrus juices and soy sauce give extra zip to these tuna steaks. Serve them with sugar snap peas and rice for a meal.

- 4 5-ounce tuna steaks (about ¾ inch thick)
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ⅛ teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 garlic clove minced
Instructies
- Place tuna in a large zip-top freezer bag.
- Combine orange juice and next 7 ingredients, and pour over tuna steaks.
- Seal bag, and chill 1 hour.
- Remove tuna from marinade, reserving marinade.
- Pour marinade into a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
- Place a lightly greased food grate on grill over medium heat (300° to 350°).
- Place steaks on grate; brush with marinade.
- Grill, covered, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Brush with marinade; turn steaks, and brush with marinade.
- Grill, covered, 2 to 3 minutes or to desired degree of doneness.
