Italian Turkey Meatballs
This simple recipe has the health benefits of turkey, but the Italian
flavor of a classic ground beef meatball. Eat this dish by itself or with
a side salad for easy healthy eating.
Ingrediënten
- 1 pound of lean ground turkey
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- ¼ cup of onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup of parsley finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- ½ teaspoon of oregano
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup of dry breadcrumbs
Instructies
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowls.
- Use your hands, and make sure the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Spray a nonstick skillet lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook the meatballs in batches for 5 or 6 minutes, or until cooked thoroughly.
- The meatballs should be browned on the outside.
- Serve and enjoy!
