Ingredients
For the Pizza Base:
- 1 gluten-free pizza crust or traditional if preferred
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Toppings:
- 200 g fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
- 150 g tomato sauce
- 10-12 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Brush the pizza crust with olive oil and place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the pizza base.
- Arrange the fresh mozzarella slices evenly over the sauce.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and scatter fresh basil leaves on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt before serving.
