Marmalade-Glazed Beef Patties

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup fine dry breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 8-ounce can water chestnuts, drained and diced
- ⅔ cup orange marmalade
- ½ cup water
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove pressed
- Hot cooked rice
Instructies
- Combine ground beef, egg, and next 4 ingredients; shape mixture into 4 patties.
- Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes on each side or until browned; remove from skillet.
- Add orange marmalade, ½ cup water, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic to skillet.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook, stirring constantly, 6 minutes.
- Add patties; reduce heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes.
