Ingrediënten
- ½ cup 72 g vital wheat gluten flour
- ¼ cup 30 g nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp. 20 g brown rice flour
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp fine sea salt
- ¾ cup 180 ml unsweetened soy or other nondairy milk
- 2 tbsp. 32 g tahini
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructies
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Lightly coat 6 standard muffin cups with spray.
- Combine the wheat gluten, yeast, flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt in a medium-size bowl.
- Stir in the milk and tahini until well combined.
- Add optional ingredients, such as olives or roasted peppers, if desired.
- Divide the batter equally among the muffin cups.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until the seitan bites are light golden brown and firm to the touch.
