Mushroom Goulash

Serve delicious goulash with rice or bread.

Ingrediënten

  • Olive oil: 4 tablespoons
  • Ground beef: 1 pound
  • Paprika: ½ tablespoon
  • Sliced fresh mushrooms: 8 ounces
  • Dried basil: ½ tablespoon
  • Green or yellow bell pepper: 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • Garlic salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Red bell peppers 1/2-inch pieces: 1
  • White pepper: ½ teaspoon
  • Sliced zucchini: 1
  • Whole tomatoes peeled and chopped with liquid: 14.5 ounces
  • Sliced red onion: 1 small

Instructies

  • Take one large skillet and cook ground beef to make it brown.
  • Remove extra fat with a slotted spoon and discard it.
  • Keep brown beef aside.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium flame and mix in pepper, garlic salt, basil, paprika, onion, squash, red and green peppers, and mushrooms.
  • Cook for almost 5 minutes and mix occasionally.
  • Decrease heat to cook on medium flame and mix in tomatoes and beef.
  • Simmer for almost 20 minutes and stir occasionally.
