Pineapple Bread

Ingrediënten

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 120 oz can crushed pineapple drained

Glaze

  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp reserved pineapple juice

Instructies

  • Mix the flour+ baking soda + salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, beat egg + sugar + cream cheese + vanilla and mix until smooth.
  • Add the flour mixture and mix well.
  • Pour in the sour cream and mix until combined then stir in the crushed pineapple.
  • Pour into a greased bread pan and bake at 350° F for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for about 15-20 minutes, and then let it cool on a wire rack.

Glaze

  • Mix powdered sugar + pineapple juice and drizzle over bread.
