Pistachio Pesto

This nutty, garlicky pesto is perfect for drizzling over pasta or spreading on warm, toasty bread.

Equipment

  • Food processor, Measuring cups, Measuring spoons, Saucepan

Ingrediënten

  • ½ cup 52 g roasted, salted, and shelled pistachios
  • 1 cup 120 g raw pine nuts
  • 20 leaves fresh basil
  • ½ cup 120 ml extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructies

  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Transfer the pesto to a saucepan and heat gently before serving.
