Ingrediënten

  • 3⅓ lbs 1.5 kg Plums
  • 1 stick plus 6 tbsp 200 g Butter or untempered vegetable margarine
  • 5 tbsp 100 g Honey
  • 2 cups 300 g Whole wheal flour
  • Whole grain flour for the work surface
  • Butter or untempered vegetable margarine for the baking sheet

For the Dough

  • 3⅓ cups 500 g Whole wheat flour
  • 4 tsp 2 cl Oil
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 tbsp 3 cl Water, lukewarm
  • 3 Eggs
  • For the Quark Filling
  • 5 oz 140 g Low-fat quark
  • tbsp 40 g Butter or
  • untempered vegetable margarine
  • 4 tbsp 2 kl Honey
  • ¾ oz 20 g Raisins
  • 2 Egg yolks

Instructies

  • For the dough, knead all the ingredients together and let rest for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 340 °F (170 °C).
  • For the quark filling, cream the butter with honey.
  • Mix in the quark, raisins, and egg yolks.
  • Roll out to a baking sheet sized rectangle on a floured work surface.
  • Lay on a buttered baking sheet and raise up a border around the edge.
  • Cover the dough with a thin layer of quark filling and lay the halved, pitted plums on top (skin side down).
  • Knead the butter with honey and whole wheat flour and roll between your hands to created streusel crumbs.
  • Sprinkle with the streusel and bake for about 30 minutes.
