Ingrediënten

  • Ingredients for 1 Torte 10in (26 cm diameter)
  • 2 sticks 220 g Butter
  • ½ cup 65 g Confectioner’s sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of vanilla sugar
  • 9 Egg yolks
  • 9 Egg whites
  • 1 cup 220 g Granulated sugar
  • 10.5 oz 300 g Poppy seeds, ground
  • 4.5 oz 130 g Hazelnuts, ground

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 340°F (170 °C).
  • Mix together the butter, confectioner’s sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  • Add the egg yolks and stir to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff.
  • Add granulated sugar gradually and continue to beat until combined.
  • Fold the egg whites and sugar mixture into the batter.
  • Sprinkle the poppy seeds and hazelnuts into the mass.
