Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 squash cubed
  • 1 zucchini cubed
  • 3 yams or sweet potatoes quartered
  • 4 carrots sliced
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup apple juice or apple cider

Instructions

  • Place squash, zucchini and yams on the bottom of a slow cooker.
  • Cover with apple juice or apple cider.
  • Place halved chicken breasts on top and add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.
