Bacon Wrapped Shrimps
Can either be served as an appetizer to your guests as they arrive or as a starter.
Ingredients
- 16 Large Shrimps Peeled and Deveined
- 8 Slices of Bacon
- Barbecue Seasoning to Taste
Instructions
- Preheat the barbecue and place the grill about 4 to 6 inches above the heat.
- Take each shrimp and wrap them in half of each slice of bacon and then secure with a toothpick or thread two of them on to a wooden skewer that has been soaking in water for 30 minutes.
- Now sprinkle some of the seasoning over them and then place each one on to the lightly oiled barbecue grill and cook for around 10 to 15 minutes.
- It is important that you turn the shrimps over frequently to prevent the bacon from burning and also to ensure that the shrimps are cooked through evenly.
- Once cooked place on a clean plate and allow your guests to help themselves.
