Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Prawns
Prawns stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon is an irresistible combination. Make sure you buy the large prawns for this recipe. The bacon takes longer to cook than small prawns, so the end result is better with a larger prawn.

- 450 grams about 20 large raw prawns, deveined and shelled
- 2 ¼ tablespoons crumbled goat cheese
- 1 ½ tablespoons panko bread crumbs
- ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon prepared horseradish
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 ½ tablespoons water
- 5 slices bacon quartered
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Butterfly prawns by cutting down the spine of each prawn without going all the way through.
- In a medium bowl, combine goat cheese, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, garlic powder, mayonnaise and pepper.
- Preheat air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes.
- Pour 2 tablespoons water into bottom of air fryer.
- Evenly press goat cheese mixture into prawns.
- Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of prawn to hold in cheese mixture.
- Place half of the prawns in fryer basket.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip prawns.
- Cook for an additional 4 minutes.
- Transfer to serving plate.
- Repeat with remaining prawns.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve warm.
