Baked Bread Omelette
Ingredients
- 1 cup stale bread crumbled
- ½ cup milk
- 5 large eggs beaten
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Butter for greasing the dish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a shallow pudding dish with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, soak the crumbled stale bread in the milk until softened.
- Beat the soaked bread mixture until smooth.
- Add the beaten eggs and salt to the bread mixture, and mix well to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pudding dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the omelette is set and lightly golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and serve the Baked Bread Omelette immediately in the same dish, as it will fall quickly.
