Bánh Mì Panini
It is a unique sandwich from Vietnam that has a combination of some French and Vietnamese flavors. It takes a short duration to prepare, making it an easy dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 petite baguette roll
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ tbsp Maggi Seasoning sauce
- 1 lb. sliced boldly flavored cooked pork liver pâté, all at room temperature
- 4 thin seeded cucumber strips
- 3 coarsely chopped sprigs of cilantro
- 4 thin slices of jalapeno chili
- ¼ cup daikon and carrot pickle
Instructions
- Divide the bread into half, then remove some of the soft parts of both pieces.
- Spread in the mayonnaise into both bread pieces.
- Coat it with the Maggi seasoning sauce lightly.
- Top with the meat, then cucumbers, jalapenos, cilantro, and finally pickles.
- Cook the sandwiches for 5 minutes as you flip them halfway over medium heat.
