Broccoli-Cheese Chicken And Rice Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 package 14 oz chicken breast strips for stir-fry
- 1 can creamy portabella mushroom cooking sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- 1 bag frozen broccoli cauliflower and carrots, thawed
- 1½ cups uncooked instant white rice
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 4 oz
Instructions
- In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken; cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is lightly browned and no longer pink in center.
- Add cooking sauce, salt and pepper; heat to boiling.
- Stir in vegetables and rice; sprinkle with cheese.
- Remove from heat.
- Cover; let stand 5 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
