Brussels Sprouts with Crispy Prosciutto and Lemon Butter
Tender Brussels sprouts tossed in lemon butter and topped with crispy prosciutto – a delicious holiday side dish!

Ingredients
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 750 g medium Brussels sprouts trimmed and outer leaves removed
- 50 g butter
- Finely grated zest of 1/4 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Prosciutto: Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the prosciutto slices in batches, cooking them flat until brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and set aside to cool.
- Cook the Brussels Sprouts: Steam or boil the Brussels sprouts for 7-8 minutes, until just tender.
- Drain well and return them to the pan.
- Add Butter and Seasoning: Add the butter, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt to the pan with the Brussels sprouts.
- Toss the sprouts until well coated with the lemon butter.
- Serve: Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl, tear the crispy prosciutto into pieces and scatter on top.
- Season with black pepper and serve.
