Brussels Sprouts with Crispy Prosciutto and Lemon Butter

medium Brussels sprouts
trimmed and outer leaves removed

butter

Finely grated zest of 1/4 lemon

Instructies
Cook the Prosciutto: Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the prosciutto slices in batches, cooking them flat until brown and crispy.
Remove from the pan and set aside to cool.
Cook the Brussels Sprouts: Steam or boil the Brussels sprouts for 7-8 minutes, until just tender.
Drain well and return them to the pan.
Add Butter and Seasoning: Add the butter, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt to the pan with the Brussels sprouts.
Toss the sprouts until well coated with the lemon butter.
Serve: Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl, tear the crispy prosciutto into pieces and scatter on top.
Season with black pepper and serve.
