Butterscotch Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Combine brown sugar, shortening, butter, and salt.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add milk and boil slowly, 3 minutes.
- Cool.
- Add sugar and beat until thick enough to spread.
