Canadian Bacon Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vermouth
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 4 slices Canadian bacon
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons shallots minced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 hamburger rolls
- 4 tablespoons ketchup
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 slices cheese optional
- Lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vermouth and honey.
- Brush the Canadian bacon slices with this mixture.
- Place the bacon in the Air Fryer and cook for 3 minutes.
- Flip the bacon and cook an additional 3 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine the ground turkey, shallots, garlic, fish sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
- Reduce the Air Fryer temperature to 370 degrees F.
- Bake the patties for 10 minutes.
- Flip them over and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the inside of the hamburger rolls.
- Place each burger on a roll, topped with a slice of cooked bacon, cheese (if desired), and lettuce.
- Serve immediately.
