  • 2 tablespoons vermouth
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons shallots minced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 hamburger rolls
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 slices cheese optional
  • Lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vermouth and honey.
  • Brush the Canadian bacon slices with this mixture.
  • Place the bacon in the Air Fryer and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Flip the bacon and cook an additional 3 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine the ground turkey, shallots, garlic, fish sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
  • Reduce the Air Fryer temperature to 370 degrees F.
  • Bake the patties for 10 minutes.
  • Flip them over and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the inside of the hamburger rolls.
  • Place each burger on a roll, topped with a slice of cooked bacon, cheese (if desired), and lettuce.
  • Serve immediately.
