Cheesy Egg Cutlets
Ingredients
- 8 hard-boiled eggs chopped fine
- 4 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons grated cheese
- ½ teaspoon curry powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 raw eggs beaten (1 for mixture, 1 for coating)
- Additional bread crumbs for coating
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped hard-boiled eggs, bread crumbs, grated cheese, curry powder, salt, pepper, and one beaten raw egg.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a cutlet-like shape.
- Dip each cutlet into the remaining beaten raw egg, then coat them evenly with additional bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully place the cutlets in the pan, in batches if necessary.
- Fry the cutlets until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Once cooked, remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve the Cheesy Egg Cutlets hot as an appetizer or side dish.
