Fresh Organic Carrot Juice

Equipment

- Cutting board
- strainer (optional).
Ingredients
- 1 pound organic carrots rinsed and tops removed
- Optional: 1 apple rinsed and quartered
Instructions
- Rinse the organic carrots under cold water and cut off the tops.
- Cut the carrots into pieces that will fit into your juicer chute.
- If desired, rinse and quarter the apple.
- Feed the carrots (and apple, if using) through the juicer, processing until all the juice is extracted.
Optional: If a smoother juice is desired, strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
- Pour the fresh organic carrot juice into a glass and serve immediately.
