Equipment

  • Juicer, knife,
  • Cutting board
  • strainer (optional).

Ingredients

  • 1 pound organic carrots rinsed and tops removed
  • Optional: 1 apple rinsed and quartered

Instructions

  • Rinse the organic carrots under cold water and cut off the tops.
  • Cut the carrots into pieces that will fit into your juicer chute.
  • If desired, rinse and quarter the apple.
  • Feed the carrots (and apple, if using) through the juicer, processing until all the juice is extracted.

Optional: If a smoother juice is desired, strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp.

  • Pour the fresh organic carrot juice into a glass and serve immediately.
