Ingredients

  • 1 quart grapes
  • 1 quart sugar

Instructions

  • Combine grapes and sugar in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat and boil gently for 20–25 minutes.
  • Strain and pour into clean jars.
  • Process for 10 minutes in boiling-water bath.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

This is an old-fashioned recipe. Concord grapes work great for this butter, but other dark grapes work fine too.
