Grilled Oyster Mushrooms with Oil and Garlic
Setas a la Parrilla con Aceite y Ajo
Ingredients
- 1 pound oyster mushrooms rinsed, trimmed, and separated into ears
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- Kosher or sea salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Instructions
- Heat a greased stovetop griddle over high heat.
- Reduce the heat to medium.
- Add the oyster mushrooms to the griddle, drizzle them with olive oil, and sprinkle with finely chopped garlic.
- Press the mushrooms with the back of a pancake turner to flatten.
- Turn the mushrooms, season with salt to taste, and cook until tender.
- Sprinkle the grilled oyster mushrooms with finely chopped parsley.
