Ham Wine Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ T butter
- 1½ T flour
- 1 can consommé bay leaf
- ⅛ t thyme
- 1 T sherry or Madeira
Instructions
- Melt butter and cook flour until well browned.
- Add consommé, bay leaf and thyme.
- Simmer 20 minutes.
- Strain.
- Add sherry.
- Baste on ham during cooking.
